Job Available: Marine Technical Superintendent – Singapore and/or Batam, Indonesia
Location

Responsibilities
• Assist major work barge Chief Engineer with material procurement for maintenance and repair, as well as technical support of machineries and equipment
• Assist in preparation and control of monthly maintenance budget and monitoring expenditure
• Prepare AFE/ACE requests for repair and procurement of equipment for major work barges
• Coordinate with various departments, subcontractors and vendors to execute repair and maintenance of onboard equipment
• Prepare detailed engineering specifications for procurement, repair and maintenance of equipment to submit for quote
• Arrange and coordinate with classification and insurance surveyors to conduct all necessary surveys for major work barges; update renewal certificates on a regular basis.
• Ensure all life-saving equipment is in good condition, valid to use onboard the barge, and compliant with all necessary codes and regulations in meeting client requirements
Education
Minimum COC Class 1 certificate holder
Experience
Work as Chief Engineer onboard DP vessels or offshore construction barge is a plus
Fluency in English language
At least 3-5 years of field experience trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic and control equipment
Ability to work at foreign and offshore locations whenever required Good communications, analytical and problem-solving skills
Shore-based role requiring coordination with multiple stakeholders, including offshore engineering management
